Couples Therapy

Reconnect and Strengthen Your Relationship!

Every relationship has its ups and downs, but sometimes those downs can become overwhelming and start to impact your daily life. Whether it’s frequent arguments, a lack of intimacy, or simply feeling disconnected, relationship problems can be difficult to navigate on your own.

Couples therapy can provide you and your partner with the tools and support needed to address these challenges and build a stronger, healthier relationship.

At its core, couples therapy is about improving communication and understanding between partners. By identifying patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to your relationship issues, you can work together to develop new approaches that better align with your individual needs and desires. Through open and honest dialogue, you can gain a deeper understanding of each other and learn how to better navigate conflicts in a more productive and constructive way.

While it may be tempting to wait and see if things improve on their own, the reality is that relationship problems often don’t go away on their own. While reducing stress might reduce conflict, the root problem will most often persist. By seeking out couples therapy, you are taking an important step towards investing in the health and well-being of your relationship.

With couples therapy, you can begin to rebuild trust, strengthen your connection, and create a new dynamic that allows you and your partner to thrive.

If you and your partner are struggling with relationship issues, couples therapy may be the solution you’ve been looking for. Contact me today to learn more about how I can support you on your journey towards a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.

How does couples therapy work?

Couples therapy focuses on the dynamics and patterns within your relationship. During sessions, I will work with you and your partner to identify underlying issues that may be contributing to your relationship problems, and help you develop new strategies for communicating and interacting in a more positive and productive way.

Couples therapy is designed to help you better understand your partner’s perspective, improve your communication skills, and rebuild trust and connection. I use a variety of techniques and methods to achieve these goals, such as Imago therapy, John Gottman’s methods for successful relationships, and Erik Hellinger’s theories about couples and family relationships.

Sessions typically last 75 minutes, and the number of sessions required can vary depending on the nature and severity of your relationship issues. Some couples may find resolution after just a few sessions, while others may require ongoing therapy to achieve their goals. Ultimately, the success of your couples therapy journey will depend on your willingness to work together as a team, be open and honest with each other, and commit to making positive changes in your relationship.

Introduction Session at Half Price

At the start of your couples therapy journey, we’ll begin with an evaluation session to help us better understand your unique needs and goals.

Unlike a typical therapy session, this initial evaluation will also include a conversation about your situation from a therapeutic perspective, as well as ideas for possible ways to move forward. We’ll also discuss whether my therapy approach is a good fit for your specific challenges, and provide guidance on how many sessions you may need to achieve sustainable improvement.

I believe that trust is the foundation of any successful therapeutic relationship, which is why I offer an introductory session at half price. This gives you the opportunity to get to know me and my approach.

If you decide to move forward, we’ll work together to help you and your partner achieve your goals and strengthen your bond.
